Michael Manley is an award winning photographer who truly loves what he does. He has had a long interest in photography, and six years ago he made the commitment to become a professional photographer and opened his studio, Michael's Photography in Eureka Springs.

Since opening Michael's Photography, business has flourished year after year due to Michael's high level of commitment to his clients, in addition to his desire to create beautiful portraits.

Michael is an active member of Professional Photographers of the Ozarks, Senior Photographers International and Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. He frequently attends seminars, workshops and classes to enhance his knowledge and to stay on top of his game. This better allows him to provide his clients with cutting edge material and the latest trends as well as the unique and timeless portraits they desire.

In the past six years, Michael has photographed over 900 weddings. He still finds every wedding special and exciting, and he believes that it is important that a bride's wedding turns out the way she wants it to be. He prides himself in helping to make dreams come true through portraits. Marty opened his studio in 1984 after graduating with a Marketing degree from the University of Central Arkansas. Marty earned his Certified Professional Photography degree in 1993, his Craftsman Degree in 1995, and his Masters Degree in 1997, and is also an (API) Approved Photographic / Imaging Speaker.

Marty Sikes Photography is a full service photography studio, specializing in Children's Portraiture. He also photographs Families, Seniors, Weddings, dance schools, and sports teams. His studio has been digital since 2000.

Marty is Past-President of the Arkansas Professional Photographers, he is the Treasurer of the Southwestern Professional Photographers Assoc., and is a PPA Councilman. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award, and also the prestigious National Award.

Marty is the 2005-2006 "Arkansas Photographer of the Year", and he received the PPA "Photographer of the Year Gold Award" in 2006. He has 12 Fuji Masterpiece awards, and has been a member of the Fuji Talent Team since it was created.

Marty and his family attend Second Baptist Church in Conway, where Marty heads up the Men's Ministry. He also founded the "Beast Feast" sportsman's banquet, which draws over 2,500 men and boys each year from all over Arkansas and other states.

    I have been taking pictures with a 35mm camera for over 25 years. I have been in business since February 2001. I feel you will be very happy with the results of the photo shoot.

    At this time I only offer on site photo shoots. This type of business is well suited for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, proms, outdoor portraiture(ie. shots in a city park or other similiar scenery) or just about any other out of studio shots. You're only limited by your own imagination.

    A $150 deposit is required to reserve your wedding date. The balance will be due and payable 2 weeks prior to the wedding date (unless other arrangements have been made in the contract). Should cancellation be necessary, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged if cancelled 2 months prior to wedding; 50% cancellation fee will be charged, if cancelled 1 month prior to the wedding date; and deposit is non-refundable, if cancelled 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.

    Prices in this website are guaranteed for 60 days after the wedding day or per your contract.

    Additional orders must be paid for in full when the order is placed.

    All travel within a 50 mile radius of Little Rock or Conway is at no additional charge. All travel outside the 50 mile radius will be charged at $.40 per mile(or as negotiated in your contract).

    This photographer takes the greatest care with respect to exposure, development, and delivery of photographs; however, in the event the photographer fails to comply with the terms of the contract due to any event or act outside the control of the photographer, the photographers liability is limited to the refund of deposits, and all payments made to date. Specific poses or locations are not guaranteed.

    Strain Photography has been located in downtown Conway for 37+ years. Gary and his daughter, Brandy, have won numerous photography awards throughout the years. Their family assists in the studio and have developed a beautiful garden area and studio environment....here's a few snippets from the Log Cabin Democrat...
    In 1991, Gary Alan Strain and Brandy Strain won photography awards at the Professional Photographers of Arkansas Convention in Little Rock. Ms. Strain was named 1991 Photographer of the Year. Mr. Strain's "Midnight Ice Capades" was the highest scoring print entered in the exhibition.

    In 1992, Gary Alan Strain and Brandy Strain were recognized by Eastman Kodak Company. Brandy Strain received a Kodak Gallery Award in the portrait category for "Keena -- African Princess." Gary Alan Strain received Gallery Awards in two categories: "Special Moments" was recognized in the wedding category, and "No More Brown Baggin'" was recognized in the commercial/industrial category.

    In 1993, Conway photographer Gary Alan Strain was an official photographer in the presidential inauguration. He was responsible for photography at the Arkansas Ball at the Washington Convention Center, the "Children's Reunion" at Kennedy Center and other inaugural balls.

    In 1995, Brandy Strain, a sales manager and photographer for Gary Alan Strain Photography, was named Arkansas Photographer of the Year for the third time at the annual convention of the Professional Photographers of Arkansas held in Hot Springs. Her entry "Happy Boy" was selected as best pet portrait. She won the Fuji Masterpiece Award for a print titled "The Perfect Kiss" in commercial Category. Gary Alan Strain won the Fuji Masterpiece Award for best wedding album. Strain also won best photo decor with a print titled "Carmel By The Sea."

    In 2000, Brandy Strain, master photographer at Gary Alan Strain Photography, recently competed in a four-state regional competition for professional photographers. Ms. Strain was awarded for her commercial photography and her black and white portraits. Her top honors were four Kodak Gallery Awards for portrait, illustrative, commercial and digital photography. She has received this honor eight times in 2000. The Kodak Gallery Award is given at each major convention for excellence in overall technique, quality, presentation and difficulty.

    Also in 2000, Brandy Strain of Gary Alan Strain Photography was recently named the Arkansas' Professional Photographers Association "Photographer of the Year." The honor is given to the photographer who has the highest point total in the six photographic print categories. She has also been the recipient of 14 individual print awards. Strain has won this honor three other times and is the youngest photographer as well as the first female, to ever achieve this honor. She is a full-time photographer with her family's studio.

    In 2001, Brandy Strain, master photographer at Gary Alan Strain Photography, recently received the Fujifilm Masterpiece Award for photographic excellence for 2001. She received the award from the Professional Photographers of the Ozarks for the photograph, Devils Dagger, in the commercial category. The Fujifilm Masterpiece Award is administered by state and regional affiliates of the Professional Photographers of America. The award recognizes photographic excellence in several categories.
